The main wave of precipitation is now moving into Middle TN. Outlined in pink: freezing rain mixed w/ sleet. This is where we are most concerned about significant ice accumulation. These areas will be at greatest risk for power outages. Farther west along the TN River, snow/sleet will slowly transition to mostly snow later this afternoon. Heavy precipitation will cause travel to quickly become very difficult to impossible over the next couple of hours. Also, prepare for potential power outages.
