    "Ordered dishwasher Nov 6. supposed to be installed Nov 10 but due to new flooring I had to do some changes. they came back after that on Nov 17 and said it wasn't good enough. (later confirmed it was fine). Paid lots of money for someone to come out and remove two rows of hardwood floor and rescheduled delivery for Nov 20 They kept confirming delivery. But then someone called me and said that was just confirming install not delivery (none of the confirmations said this). So now they are going to try to figure out when they can come out. and yiu can never talk to anyone at the store. they keep routing you to corporate and they are clueless. Not sure when if ever I will get this delivered. If I can get it from somewhere else I will cancel this order. Not that they care at all"

    "Sent my Lexicon to Beamish over a year ago after speaking to Hugh about what i needed. He said it would take 3 weeks. After a couple months i called and he gave me the runaround. Months later i called again and more runaround. Called again during the holidays and nothing. I dont believe i will ever get my unit back. Terrible experience avoid at all costs. Scam artists they will steal your gear! I may seek legal advice on this."

    "I took a long-dead amp and pre-amp to Sam's to see if they could bring them back to life. The pre-amp came back to life like a champ, the amp didn't. They had my gear for about 2 weeks, called and let me know the situation. \n\nI appreciated the honesty about the amp - that the labor and parts would be worth more than the amp. The pre-amp was an inexpensive fix, and it's been working great.\n\nLots of eye candy in the store. Very dangerous."

I'm in the UK and if I buy a DP-UB820 from them Panasonic UK, I would get a DP-UB820EB, which is the UK model with a UK plug, it would be Region 2 for DVD and Region B for Blu-ray. But it's still very much an 820! . The PDF manual says "Model number suffix “EB” denotes UK model."

Panasonic's support website is helpful in obtaining information and online manuals for the various DVD Recorder models. Just click here and fill in the model number or partial model number (like "DMR-E"). Thanks for starting this thread. I find it helpful in knowing what years each model was made. Most of my recorders date back before 2006.
